I believe that most of us think that we should always strive for perfection, oh my, how frustrating is that? Well, I really enjoy making progress, but pretty sure I’ve never actually reached perfection. Perhaps perfection is possible, but as I grow older, I’m not sure it’s so important or even healthy.
Perhaps a healthier goal is to achieve self-satisfaction, to know that you gave it your best. If you “fail”, get up and brush yourself off, but don’t be too hard on yourself if you didn’t quite “make it”, or that you “missed the mark” (the definition of sin, by the way),
“I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and dog gone-it, people like me” Stuart Smalley.
Have a great weekend! xoSharon
